You can go thru Costco or Sams club if youre a member. Saves you the $35 fee and you can earn up to a $100 gift card for upgrading.

Seems like Simple Choice does qualify and gets you up to $500 trade in value.
Unfortunately t mobile charges $30 extra on phones (apple sells ip16 for 800 and t mobile for 830.
T mobile also asked for $35 connection charge.
This extra $65 surcharge makes it less appealing ☹️

Hi, where do you see summary and summary description quoted above? Did you order by phone through costco or tmobile directly?
It was on the T-Mobile website before I did the final checkout. I ordered thru T-Mobile.

Is there promo for S25 with MM plan?
Do they just email the gift cards after 90 days or do you need to submit some sort of rebate

You will need to submit the offer on the Tmo promotions website with the offer code.

This might be ymmv but my Costco kiosk needed to see the phone I'm trading in to do it in store. I was planning on doing it as a surprise for someone so that sucked. Now I'm stuck on the phone line waiting an hour and got disconnected when I put my earphones back in their case. So dumb bc they have no way to verify the trade in device over the phone so why would it be required in person? I pushed back on it several times and he said he needed to physically check it before he could mark it as no cracks and turns on.
I was able to confirm the gift card is $100v since I saw some people online say 75. And the rep said the promo just started and there's no indication it's a Valentine's promo so no assumption that it would end soon. He said most likely go through the month, maybe even into next month. Told me I had time to order an s10 for the trade in if I wanted. I had considered this but there aren't many trustworthy options on eBay and it seems like a hassle trying to sell a purple iPhone 12 separately.

That sucks. Yeah, def YMMV. From what i been seeing online is that there isnt an end date yet. I would say if the phone line doesnt work out, maybe try to go again in the morning to see if another rep can do it?

These eBay sellers are something else. I've asked several sellers some questions and they say "read the description"

I take that to mean something is wrong with the device

If I was selling phones, I would respond as soon as possible in order to make a sale or even just to get the bids going higher.

I just did it at my Costco and it only took five minutes! So glad I didn't call! Employee was super nice, super fast and did not require to see the trade in phone since I did not have it with me, (just bought it from Swappa so only had the IMEI). Guess I was lucky! He also told me I would be getting $100 Costco shop card.

I just did the upgrade at Costco but was not told about the $100 gift card. How can I apply for that? Is there a promo code you can share so I can submit it myself?

Maybe he meant they have to arrive/ship, but he did say I had to wait until I had my phones.
I also submitted my Costco rebate right after I purchased the phone at the Costco counter from my phone yesterday. The cs provided the promo code and we did it together without any issue. After submitted, there was a tracking code generated and he advised me to take screenshot of it for my record.

Super slickdeal, just did this at costco kiosk, rep took a look at the phones being traded, 2 s20 FE and 1 s22 to 2 iphone 16s and 1 s25, just had to pay tax up front, diff for s25 over the 24 months, 3 $100 costco cards too, phones getting shipped to home, can drop off trade-ins at nearest tmobile store to send in, easy decision
Be very careful and return to a corporate store and also get a receipt. Heard stories of phones disappearing and credit not given at authorized stores.

I did mine yesterday and they also asked to see my trade in phone, but I didn't bring it with me. They kept asking if there is any screen crack or anything on the phone and I said no. I showed them the pic of the phone that took with the IMEI number. Then they asked if the Find my IPhone is turned off and I said I haven't turned it off yet but will do when I'm ready to turn in. They almost wouldn't do it for me bc the Find My iPhone is not turn off and he said he couldn't proceed. Luckily the manager was there and able to help bypass it.

Was it hard to get the imei from swappa? I haven't had any luck asking eBay sellers if they can provide it once I purchased
