Please note, if you are using the new Galaxy S25 models, you'll want a 45W charging block with a 5A cable. Keep that in mind if considering this deal.
While the difference from zero to full on 25w vs 45w is only about 10 min, going from zero to 75% is INSANELY fast on 45w compared to 25w, like maybe 25 minutes in my experience. 15 minutes to go 0 to 50%. I am not joking, it's that fast. When I was using my old 25w charging block it was much slower.
Also, make sure you have a 5A cable. You use a 3A cable on a 45w charging block and it will be as if you were using a 25w.
Otherwise, this is a great deal. I LOVE Anker products and they give me a solid peace of mind that I am not getting some crappy Temu rebranded product on Amazon that might be questionable quality.
First, check if yours is already a 5A. Anker is pretty good at selling the correct cable with their charging blocks. If you bought a block without one, it's hard to know without plugging it in with special software to check as there isn't really any external indicator.
For brand, this is kind of a loaded question because I have trouble trusting any of them lol.
With that being said, you typically can at least rely on Anker, Cable Matters, Best Buy's brand, Startech, and so on. Just be sure they specifically indicate USB c to USB c and 5A cable.
There's other good ones out there I am sure, it's just that there are many that are kind of deceiving. For example, you can find cables out there on 100W/5A and support fast charging, but then you find they don't support USB get 3.2 data transfer speeds and have an outdated chip. But, then I found some brand I never heard of called LEIRU[amazon.com] and it did literally everything! Amazing cable! So, just look at what you need it for and get this. Most people don't need ALL features. If you are just going for fast charging, you don't need to pay more for the Gen 3.2 USB-C cables, but if you want fast charging AND to hook up your Quest 3 or maybe a high-end DSLR camera you want to move gigabytes of data to your PC with, you are going to want gen 3.2 compatible cables.
