Yep. Extensively on the Xbox and Switch. Probably the best Kart game that doesn't have Mario. Arguably better racing, as Sega has always made top notch arcade racers.

This is the 2010 game. Are you thinking of Sonic Team Racing since you mentioned Switch? Sonic All Star Racing Transformed, the sequel, is better in my opinion.

The sequel ALL STAR RACING TRANSFORMED is way better, one of the top best kart racing games ever made

Most people have no idea which is which. I played Transformed (which is great) and thought that this deal was in reference to that

This is the first Sonic Racing game, at least on PC, 2010.

Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed came out in 2014.

There's even a third one called Team Sonic Racing that came out in 2019.

As old as this one is $5 is kinda high tbh, unless you have a particular nostalgia for it.

Unlike the sequel Transformed, this one can play at framerates higher than 60 FPS. It made the drifting more fun with it being easier to control. Downside is the game's environments are reused across different tracks, and there's no online multiplayer to race your friends. But for $5 it's not bad.
This Steam guide was useful to fix the crash on launch issue (it's from a sound setting) and adjusting the graphics to max settings (most important thing is to set the Low Detail Models to Four Players): https://steamcommunity.com/shared...2781910034

This game is fun, but the sequel, Sonic and All-stars Racing Transformed, is a better game and also costs $5. Also this game is quite old and used to go on sale for $2 or less.
