This thing is made more for kitchen & bathroom sinks & for bathtub drain. Get this for your toilet if you wanna move them brown logs along after night @ the buffet.

I was forced to buy one of these, got it with the 15% off coupon on presidents day. Bought an old house with 4" cast iron that I'm replacing. Nephew flushed a giant one down the toilet and found an old clog for me. I hail maryed and bought this thing. It's pretty freaking awesome I gotta admit. It won't completely clean out a 4" pipe but I attached a buncha zip ties to the head (star pattern so it would center itself and had some cutting surface) and managed to get it clean enough to work for now. I was able to see what it was doing because the clog was between a cleanout and an upstream toilet. I took off the toilet and looked down when it was passing by. It was about 15-18ft and had traversed a 45 and a hard 90. I could see it just spinning and riding one side of the pipe so that's when I attached the zip ties and got it a bit better. I could feel it when it hit the clog as it pulled itself into it.

It's definitely made for <2" drain lines but it will do the job in bigger pipe with a little ingenuity I think. Unless its a major major clog but I don't know. This thing eats and it's handy af to have. Plus it pays for itself if it fixes one clog. I'm dreaming up new ways to attach some kind of cutter to the tip.

I can't find the one your talking about to reference. I've only got a Lowes/Harbor freight near me so I got what they had. Looks like they sell a replacement wire with a set of attachments for the harbor fraught one: https://www.harborfreight.com/dra...70483.html

I woulda gladly paid a bit more for that instead, they really should just sell it as a full kit.

This is more suited for toilet drains. Normal price is $300, but next week it goes on sale for $200.

Great info here as I could use this! Any idea when the "next week parking lot sale" starts?
