Lol it will be the last mower you ever buy. Mine is about 20 years old and starts on the first pull.

Amazing small engines, excellent build and cut quality, any form of "quiet" however, they are not.

I thought Honda was done making mowers? Good to see this is out there. Must buy for anyone who mows their yard for more than 30 mins at a time.

These are left over from the recall. They aren't still making these.

Have had mine for many years. One complaint is the rear drive system where the rear shaft accumulates rust and the wheels lock up preventing the mower from being pulled backwards. Many videos identifying the issue and its remedy. I really need to tear it down this spring and try to get everything working properly again. Engine? Bullet proof. The mower starts easily every spring after sitting all winter.

I just got a greenworks 80V self propelled mower with two 4ah batteries. Is that fine or should I get this instead?

I got the greenworks one used for $250, which seemed like a good price.

I'd get one but my two decade old Honda powered Poulon Pro is still breathing and money is tight atm. If it was at $400, I'd pull the trigger instantly. This is still a great deal, plus Honda will not be producing snowblowers or lawnmowers anymore.

I picked this up the last time the deal was posted and have been very happy with the purchase. Nice comfort in knowing you have a quality product that has great longevity if taken care of.

Have an HRX that is about 12 years old, everything works great, even the electric start (though I did convert it to use Bosch batteries) but I just upgraded to a stand on mower. Selling this to my sister and I'm sure it'll last another 12 years no problem. If you're in the market for a mower, these are great!

I've had one of these for about 5 years. Been disappointed with the cut quality. If you mulch and cut your grass long, 2.5"+, the quality of cut is poor with lots of stragglers. I've checked the forums (others report the same problem), tried different blades, adjusted governor to higher speed, etc.. Nothing improves it. Think it's the design of the deck and it can't get enough suction to pull up the heavier tall grass.
