I got 10 rolls of theirs for $71.33$ plus tax off aliexpress ordered Friday night and being delivered today in the usa. Offer still valid here, though not all color combinations are that price: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/32...82715.html (some of those listed there are also PLA so make sure to get the correct one)

I'm seeing the $40 price but agree re: the better deal. Unless you need one of the odd color combos, 4x HS PETG at $43 >> 4x regular PETG at $40.

Edited to add that Amazon's "list price" of $70 is a farce. Regular price on this stuff is $44 (per CCC; looks like they jacked it to $45 just for this "sale"), so it's less than 10% savings. Not that saving ~10% isn't good as a general rule, but this is hardly something you need to impulse-buy or stock up on.

Ahh, I know why I'm not seeing the price - my Prime expired yesterday. Personally couldn't stomach that membership any longer.

This is one of the reasons why I ordered it. Their more obscure colors are usually more expensive. Same with their PLA, specifically their Metta or Matte. Full transparency, I have not done any extensive testing, but I did not notice a difference between their standard and high speed PETG using standard PETG settings in Bambu Stusio

You probably wouldn't notice when using standard PETG settings, because Bambu significantly handicaps generic filament compared with their own brand settings (which makes sense; they can't be responsible for the capabilities of third-party filaments). A better comparison would be using the Bambu filament settings, which print a lot faster than the generic ones. Best would be to test with custom settings dialed in to push the capabilities of each filament until quality degrades ... but it's a lot easier just to use the generic settings. 🙂

Yeah, I'm often not home and printing from the Handy app so the generic thing is much easier like you mentioned. If I get enough of a specific filament and I'm not lazy, I create a custom profile for that filament and can select the profile from the app if I'm not home.

If you want 10 a roll kingroons site has 10 rolls all black or white or mixed colors for 99 free shipping..ali express also has kingroon for 89 and PLA for 80.i saw those after I already ordered the kingroon sites lol missed out on 10 savings but live and learn lol

Watch for sales and coupons and you can get Kingroon in bulk for $6-7/kg on AliExpress. Kingroon PETG is my go-to filament; it prints beautifully and could barely be less expensive. I've got 40+ spools sitting behind me right now, and that's after sending at least 10 more home with my son. 🙂

Yeah it's now 30 dollars cheaper I could have saved if I checked ali.. kingroon already shipped it so I can't cancel 😭

Fighting the urge to get this. I have some spools from BF and then waiting on the 16 spools of Creality Soleyin PLA that I ordered from ebay that should arrive in the coming weeks. I do feel like the basic black/white/grey can always be used for the standard generic prints.

If you are buying bulk then it is worth it to run a speed/temp calibration test to dial in the settings and set up the Filament profile in Bambu, then even from the app you can use teh dialed in settings if the filament is loaded.

Hey what do yall think of Kingroons PLA quality? With Elegoo being so hard to get a hold of right now I'm looking for an alternative. Any idea if the spools fit nicely on the AMS Lite? Thanks in advance!

I haven't tested the rapid PETG yet, but did run speed tests on the regular Sunlu PETG. I was able to achieve a max volumetric flow rate of 20 mm^3/s. For reference even Bambu's own PETG is only rated up to 13 mm^3/s.

If I had to guess, the regular and high speed sunlu petg might just be the same petg.
