It's $2/month.

Not all libraries offer free portal access.

If people like reading the WSJ it's a good price. Put a calendar reminder to cancel a year from now. Last time I cancelled I could do it online without having to call in.

I pay $7/month for WSJ, Barrons, Marketwatch and IBD.

Pretty happy with that...pre internet, I'd pay a lot more for physical delivery.

I am. There is a very obvious tension between the left-leaning news desk and the right-leaning opinion desk. In cases where the news desk errs on the side of opinion, the will sometimes publish oppositely slanted articles side-by-side. I much preferred the days when both the news desk and the opinion desk strove to adhere to neutrality, the WSJ was a very special paper during those times.
