Remember, the 1500 Min/Text/1500MB Data isn't per month, it's per year. That's just slightly over 4 mins/texts/mb of data per day.

The "per year" actually works in my favor. I get these as spare phones for when my kid goes to a sleepover, or a guest from a different country finds their phone doesn't work here, etc.
It's just nice to have a handset in a desk drawer, charged and ready to lend out for a while. And when service expires I unlock the phone and it serves as a backup of any if our regular phones breaks, so I don't need to rush for a replacement.

We will have to see of these phones unlock especially for those who have shifted plans to a BYOD during activation.
Especially after this Verizon unlock new policy.

Anyone having issues unlocking after 60 days? I activated mine on 2/23/25, and it is past 60 days, but still is network locked. Does it automatically unlock or is there a call to Customer Service involved to get this done? My device stayed with the original SIM and for the last 60+ days, and this was a new number.

3 of 4 TF phones were automatically unlocked after 60 days (bought in Jan and Feb). One of them didn't, so I called TF customer service who transferred my call to another department. It was shown SIM unlocked 10 mins later. Easy solution.

But I am wondering what to do with those unlocked phones. Can they be used out of the US like Canada or Asia?

I sold mine on FB for $50. could have asked for more but it was gone same day.
