Awesome deal, Im still running my Alienware Aurora R7 with liquid cooling from like 2018. Upgraded from a GTX1080 to a RTX3070. Not a single issue with this PC. I run it for about 8+ hours a day and often max out the CPU and GPU from gaming yet ive never had an issue with overheating even when my office was 90+ degrees

are dell mobo using their own memory sticks or can you replace them with something else?
You can replace with something else. I used Team group 32gb DDR5 5600.

This is a terrible deal. Infact the only thing good about this build is the 5080 and everything else is extremely sub par. I would build it myself but that's me.
okay🤡

Hard to get a 5080 at a reasonable price though. But I agree about building it yourself.

Has anyone who bought this, and also replaced RAM with aftermarket stuff been able to get 5600 or 6400 speeds? And I dont mean it says it should be capable of doing 5600 or 6400, I mean, mean you tested it and are seeing those results? If so, mind mentioning which brands and model numbers you purchased?
Found this on the dell support site, but all these part numbers listed for super old crap thats almost impossible to find in stock anywhere.

Would really love to not spend over $150 dollars and end up getting 4800 speed because its locked down or cant recognize it.

With a c b and 10% I can get it down to about 1960-ish. What am I missing?

Sure thing! I got a 32gb kit on Amazon for $70. Works perfectly, and system detects it at the correct 5600 MT/s out of the box.

Thank you! One would guess from the same listing, the TEAMGROUP Elite DDR5 64GB Kit (2x32GB) option should work similarly.
I wonder if it would be possible to pull off 6400, or if we are simply stuck with max 5600?

If anyone is interested, I am now aware of three people (including myself) who have successfully installed a Peerless Assassin SE120 V2 CPU air cooler substitute. Hat tip to slickdealer SteveNash2005 for his initial plunge and answering of questions to me on this issue.

it is a relatively easy install and has resulted in a 30 degree C improvement for me.

My Crucial 6400 runs at 5600. I think we are stuck at 5600.

From what I read on Alienware's sub-reddit, overclocking options are restricted to K processors. I think most people here has opted for the base CPU.
