I bought this a couple of days ago and setup this morning. Nice snappy little computer. If you aren't a gamer, this is a great little desktop computer. I'm mostly using it as a DVR connected to my Sony OLED. Very smooth 4K video. Most of the time I will view my HD Homerun Prime cable TV on other devices and use this as a server. Recommend if you have a spare monitor. My previous DVR computer was pretty slow and only had Windows 10, so I was looking for a good deal. Very tiny with bracket to attach to the back of your monitor.

Wow great price for these very nice specs. Tempted to buy one to replace my old J2900 Acer, which has served me well for years. This one will run circles around it for barely more than $100 after my Amazon 5% back. Not to mention the looming Windows 10 end of support, which a new box will neatly sidestep. Thanks for posting, OP.

Can this be fixed with a fresh Windows install, or is it linked to the BIOS? Thanks.

for the malware, if it not at the BIOS level, i'd just buy the machine and fresh reinstall an OS.

Most of these mini systems that have 12GB of RAM, have the ram soldered on to the board.

I would also advocate to use windows 11 enterprise IOT as they don't have AI malware

They were shipping computers with software installed that would steal your information and passwords. Just don't buy stuff from shady companies instead.

Also, their response was "The incident stemmed from software adjustments made by developers to reduce boot times, which inadvertently affected network settings and omitted digital signatures." so I wouldn't assume they're not messing with installing things from UEFI into Windows.
