Just signed up for 2 lines and transferred from T Mobile. My App shows $80 for the two lines. Where is the 50% off discount? I called and they said just wait for the bill. Is this correct or is there something else I need to do?

Only took them 10 years to take my advice and update their plans designed in 2015 offer market-competitive rates. At launch, it was innovative to offer international data coverage standard, but their prices of $10/GB looked worse each year as data prices dropped and their price never changed.

$20/month for 2+ lines that includes canada and mexico is competitive, but the miss is not offering something better than people can already get with most even pre-paid carriers at this point like a small amount of extra-US/CA/MX data for light travel. Even 500mb a month or something, oh well, maybe in another 10 years.

This plan appears to only have data for US, Mexico and Canada and no way to add data for roaming in other countries. I assume that there is no way to switch plans and go back to the discounted plan. Does Google Fi include Wifi calling that would work with data from another e-sim (or maybe separate wifi hotspot) while traveling outside of North America?
That is true but they allow you to switch plans in the app for a month at a time. I went to Europe last summer and switched to the Unlimited Plus plan for one month and then went back.

not trying to thread crap or anything, but I just signed up for US Mobile which gets priority verizon data and it was $32.50 for unlimited everything if you pay for the full year up front. It includes a free apple watch line, int'l data, and apparently you can also have priority AT&T simultaneously if you have a dual sim phone..I did a 30 day trial and liked it enough to sign up for 1 year up front..definitely check them out

I assume if you take the 1/2 price deal that if you switch to get international coverage you get the normal price when you switch back. It would be nice if you could add on international roaming temporarily rather than switching plans.

Worth switching over from total wireless at $15 a line?
Considering this too.
Although TW is supposed to get prioritized Verizon service (QCI8), I don't find it great. I've had a better experience with T-Mobile.

Anyone considering, note the this offer ends on March 14, 2025 at 9:59 AM PST - also make sure to use the extra savings.
Google does charge taxes and it could be upto $5 per line. It uses T-mobile network and upto 35gb data in simply unlimited.
Key advantages of Google FI Simply unlimited plan:
1, Data only sims are free and you can get several data only sims per line.
2, Free smartwatch (pixel and galaxy haven't see apple) plan with the phone plan

I only see my $60 referral credit processing. I do NOT see the 50% off for new subscribers. And the pricing shows $80 per month which is full price.

I'm also considering switching from Total Wireless at $15 per line due to ongoing issues. Although their service is good in my area, I've faced multiple pricing errors since signing up for the $15 promotion. Once they raised my bill to $115 for 5 lines instead of the usual $75, a $40 payment was missed, resulting in all lines being deactivated. It took hours on the phone to fix each issue and request a refund. Additionally, their autopay system charges more in my case, so I have to pay manually to get the $15/line rate. Despite the good price, the constant hassle has led me to look for a better option.

Will there be any problems switching from TMobile to Google FI? (I see that GoogleFI uses TMO).

if Total Wireless do not have additional taxes then it is better value because Google fi will have $4-$5 taxes per line.

Was there any disruption in the service? (how long it took to get the lines working on google-fi)
