If one line is new to Google Fi, the other line is with Fi's other plan, can both still form a plan and take the $40/2-line deal?

I'm currently on fi, data speeds are really good, but beware, if you hit the limit your internet will be unusable.

Read all 6 pages, but has anyone actually completed this deal? I'm thinking of transferring four lines, but Google Fi won't let me go beyond the first one before asking for payment information. Did it let you add additional lines at the right price afterwards? And no, I've never had Fi.

I called Google Fi customer service because my first bill is showing processing with the full 2 line rate of $80 plus $8 tax without the 50% off discount for new subscribers. I do see the $60 referral credit in promotions processing but no 50% off. The customer service rep said the 50% off promotion will be seen on the SECOND billing and I need to pay full price for the first bill. Is this correct? Your experience?

if Total Wireless do not have additional taxes then it is better value because Google fi will have $4-$5 taxes per line.
Unfortunately, TW is not better value for me. If I have to spend 8 hours every few months regardless of my actions, I must factor in the value of that time. If others use TW without issues, that's great for them. However, after six months, despite being cheaper, TW is not working for me.

Are your sure it is possible to use the referral code together with this promotion? I read a few other cases where person used the referral code but promotion did not appear in their accounts.

My issue was fixed by a Google Fi customer supervisor. Thanks

seems like tax and fee, and the 35gb cap kill the deal...
