Apple LTE watches are not supported with free smartwatch LTE activation but your Apple Watch should with your iPhone using Bluetooth.
For Smartwatch LTE plan activation your Apple watch need to be a LTE version but for now Google Fi doesn't support Apple LTE watches but Bluetooth version works with the iPhone in any carrier.
