I was checking out last year thread which seem to start at the beginning of May. So it's just 2 months from now, which I think I can wait. Get the full warranty. Been checking out FB Marketplace deals, one guy with a Q990D barely used was willing to sell it to me for $500 but I had to travel 100 miles to get it. But I couldn't make the trek. Had other offers for Q990C and Q990B for around $500-700 but these don't have warranties even if they are lightly used. If I can get this deal for $600-700 from Samsung, I'll pull the trigger.

Remember to ask chat if any other discounts are available. I got an additional 10% off and they forwarded me a link to purchase at that deeper discount. Stack with $50 off your first purchase with the Samsung app if that's still available.
I'm very happy with the system, it sounds incredible. I'd only spend this much if you have access to ATMOS content though. Sounds like any other soundbar without it. I think that's the reason for polarized reviews between awesome vs not impressed. I also find the bass to be fine. Perfect in shows like Stranger Things without being overwhelming.

I think the code expired before you logged in to your EPP. I forgot to mention that you should keep the rep waiting while you checkout in case the code doesn't work. It happened to me before and the rep gave me another code instantly which worked.

Does anyone still see this for roughly $900? Just got a coupon (due to my broken q990c) and since accepting it shows for $1500. It's one of the only products that doesn't show an additional EDU discount. Trying to figure out if it's a coincidence or a plot to make me spend more for the replacement. Smilie

Give it a month or so and if price history is any indication, it'll go back down to even lower prices ($600s) once the Q990F debuts in the coming weeks.

The 990F is already available for sale on Samsung ($1511 EPP) so the 990D should start clearing out at all major retailors.
