I have one of these that I've been using very lightly for a year, and it's drifting already.

I'm a very light player. I'm an adult without much time to play anymore, and no kids. I play relaxed games, nothing competitive.

There are a lot of options out there in this price range with hall-effect sticks. I'd strongly recommend you pick up one of those, instead.
I own one and use it for PC . I think PS4 controllers are better than this.

I've got two mains (one for Xbox one for PC) that have hundreds if not thousands of hours on them. No drift yet after about five years of use. Some of it will be luck of the draw, but I haven't had trouble.

Ive had 3 of these and both of them had sticky triggers. Sent 1 back and the replacement had the same problem.

My hardcore gaming buddy keeps his controller in a ziplock when not in use to keep ALL debris/dirt out of them. He HAS NEVER had a controller get bad in the last 13 years of gaming on several consoles
