I have the l10s ultra and the only complaint I have about it is that it leaves "striping" on my hardwood floors, where you can see a slight haze of stripes where the vacuum passed side to side while mopping. Anyone else notice this? Are the newer robots better about not striping?

I have the Roborock QRevo, and it does the same thing. I got it for my elderly mother who can't mop bc she uses a walker. But the haze on the floor (LVP) where the mop pads went drives her crazy, so she still struggles to mop. I started looking at the dreames, hoping to get a streak-free clean, but it sounds like they have the same issue. It's odd bc there's no solution added... it's just water! And I bought multiple extra mop pads and brushes, to make sure they weren't tracking dirt around.

I appreciate your feedback.

Yeah, I see some complaints online, but I figured that if it were something that every modern roborock/dreame robot vacuum suffers from, there would be more people complaining about it. Maybe it's just that it doesn't bother most people? Or only certain floors with certain lighting conditions make it super apparent? Either way, I've tried replacement pads and different cleaning solution, with no success. I think I tried to remove the solution altogether and just use water, but I can't remember. I guess that's my next step.

$80 seems like a worthwhile upgrade to get the X30 over the L20 right? Was the L20 closer to $400 earlier?

Also, anyway to purchase a longer 3 yr warranty instead of the default 2?

I was in the same boat. I think before, the difference between the L20 and x30 was way more (like hundreds of dollars) but for $80 just went with the x30.
