You don't have to keep the service. You can port out the number immediately or keep it for 1 month. It's up to you.

Yes just make sure you disable auto pay and I would replace the card on file too after you place the order and maybe place it with virtual card if that is allowed. Maybe good to keep not for Apple store but maybe higher value trade in to BB or Samsung for example.

Can I trade in multiple phone 13 to get $250 each to buy one iphone or $250 is only work on first trade in phone and the rest will only get $225?

Only one trade in when purchasing the phone, so you would need to trade in n number of phones for gift cards, once you get them all, trade the last one when purchasing the new iPhone and pay for the difference using the gift cards previously obtained.

Although I'm not sure if there are any limits on how many devices you can trade in per account.

In my experience there is no limit. There was a limit on how many GC you could redeem on one order though.

You have to keep the service for a year before getting unlocked. That's why alot of people don't keep the phone for long
