For those like me who are not sure they need this, looks like Harbor Freight has some cheap options regularly priced for 24" ($7), 48" ($10), and 72" ($14). So I'll hold off til I need it.

Box levels are sturdier than I-Beam levels. I would prefer a Box level on a 78" level. However my Johnson 48" I-Beam level has maintained it's rigidity and accuracy for over a decade. At this price, I ordered the 78".
SlickDeals effect (what the heck). Ordered the 24" too. Now I'll have the complete set.

Thank you, picked up all 3!

Note these prices appeared in the app and the items were available for store pickup, but they rang up regular price at the register. Had to get customer service to override.

I was not aware Lowes had different pricing online and in-store, but am finding some stores doing this now (Office Depot is one)

I bought the 48" last time. Good for the price but magnet is questionable. If you hang it vertically to seem to hold. But if you hang it horizontally it will drop because the magnet is too weak/not enough magnet for the size of the beam.
