For the other poster: "Nearly 1.9 million Fiji water bottles recalled over manganese, bacterial contamination. On May 23, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced the recall of 78,533 cases (equivalent to about 1.9 million bottles) of Fiji Natural Artesian Water, designating it as a Class III recall.May 30, 2024"
Midway thru 2024 all Fiji water had a strong plastic taste, only bought it bc my gf likes the sweet taste and smooth texture provided by the excessive amounts of silica in the water. She noticed the change immediately.
You then started seeing crazy sales at Costco on the 12 x 1L packs going for $12-14 in warehouse, it's because they are trying to get rid of old stock that no one is buying.
I think Fiji is probably now the worst tasting mid range water brand you can purchase. This deal is 12L for $18 which is an ok deal when factoring the 24 pack of smaller bottles but nothing crazy.
I would stick to Acqua Panna, Icelandic Glacial, Evian - all which can be had for a similar price on sale and dont taste like plastic bottles
Usually anything heavy, esp water, comes looking like it has been thru the war when it hits your porch
