I completely agree. This smells like Barbasol shaving cream. Bought the smaller bottle for $77 at Kohls, and gave it to my dad. To me, it's an older man scent, like 60s+.

How much better is this than the $14 nautica deal that was just poppin?
Really all depends what you're into -- I've never been into Nautica, but it's cheap and mass appealing, but a totally different type of scent. Beau de Jour is one of my favorites, I've got a few bottles of it, it lasts a while on me and it's just much more interesting. Some people say Nautica smells Cheap, some say Beau smells 'old', so it's hard to say for sure, but I'd suggest checking out the Fragrantica page to see if the notes are anything youd like:

Tom Ford is a 'premium/luxury' brand, so this is a good deal as it's about half-off the normal price, which is part of the appeal.

Costco will let you return it if you don't like it, as well.

If price is a concern though, Zino by Davidoff is another ~$15 fragrance which I believe is what Beau de Jour was inspired by.. they smell very, very similar but Zino is incredibly cheap and a good entry point if you wanted to try it without dropping $130. Sephora also usually has Beau de Jour in store to sample.

Are there any other notable good prices on Costco for parfum?

Just a heads up to say that the last purchase of cologne from Costco that I bought was certainly fake/inauthentic.

Why does these cologne always have these long a** names? Lol. Probably a good deal, but I'm not a cologne type of guy so what do I know.

Going to question this heavily.

You can rub yourself down in a $7 essential oil that will last 6 months.

Perfumes are individual taste. Check perfumania website to see if this suits you.
What does Perfumania tell you about the fragrance other than a very basic "Scent Notes" section? Seems more like an online shop primarily. IMO Fragrantica is the go-to site for in-depth info about fragrances, notes, seasonality, day/night, longevity, silage, etc. and written user reviews.

I'd never trust someone who uses the word "inauthentic"

Based upon what authority? I'm sensing you are either trolling or don't know real from fake scents. Costco is highly regarded for selling authentic products.

Agreed that Fragrenatica tells you information that you can base an idea on regarding characteristics of a scent.

And even then however you never know if you will like it until you try it.

You Costco zombies are funny. But yeah, what I bought was an obvious dupe. I then reached out to the manufacturer of the cologne to confirm, and they told me that Costco is not an authorized retailer or reseller, and that they do not sell their cologne there.

That's impossible bro. Don't try making Costco look bad. They are legit and if you for any problems they will make it right but don't spread false rumors
