Nope . You pay $364 only to order it . They will pay you $25 per month for 12 months if you stay with ST at $65 month plan . So you will be paying $40 for that plan . This deal is same as straight talk website .

I got the phone and couldn't activate through the website likely because I bought as guest. Anyway I called to activate. It did activate but my concern is that it might mess with the unlock process because I sent UNLOCK to 611611 and it says already unlocked while when checking in the settings it says network locked. Anybody faced something similar with the iPhone 13 that were previously the offer?
Again, read thread - been mentioned several times.

I think hypothetically, one could have gotten 3 iPhone 13s for about $75-$80 each. Trade two for Apple gift cards for $470. Trade the last iPhone 13 for about $250 credit. Or just trade all three for gift cards to use towards any iPhone. Has anyone successfully tried this?
How can we get 3 iPhone 13 for 75-80$ each ? Metro PCs will give you max 2 phones I think. If you get 3 phones then 3*80=240$ and you can Tradein for 690$ to Apple and get iPhone 16e and some accessories for remaining amount?

This is really only valuable for people that need the $60 plan or whatever. If you were on the $35 plan obviously the $25 upgrade becomes moot. I mean not including the discount on the phone. Honestly I'd probably still rather just get a used iPhone 13 or something for 200 bucks.
Agreed, but keep in mind when you buy a 3 year old used phone, you probably will have to replace the battery. Unless you got luck found a used iPhone 13 for $200 with good battery health that will last you a few more years.

The trade in for iPhone 13 has gone down on the Apple website. It's now $225 instead of $235 before. So this deal for 16e is better than buying multiple iPhone 13s and trading them in.

I am fortunate enough to be in a position where I can drive into Canada to purchase a physical SIM iPhone if I wanted to. Issue is, it's going to be at full price. Do I bite the bullet and get the physical slot for $200+ more is the question...
Actually the next time I visit Canada, I plan to get the latest one pro Max unlocked...don't care if I have to pay full price.
Last time I traveled, the damn 15 pro didn't recognize the network..brough to the wireless local store they couldn't figure out ... I had to buy a separate hotspot device and carry with me the whole trip. Waste the time on vacation and money.
Apple should give consumers option on the sim/esim...

Plus eligible trade-ins required for each line, $35 activation fee for each line, and taxes+fees on top of the $100 each month. Also, I think you also have to pay the tax on each phone.
You are absolutely correct. When contracts died these greedy carriers found another way to fleece customers. Now it's all about using EIP as a way to get people stuck in an even longer contract than the past. People just see 4 phones free and think they are getting a deal. A simple math calculation will show the deal is not as sweet as it seems on the surface. The major carriers win in the end. Prepaid for life for me. Never going back to a postpaid account again.

It's that fine print that gets them every time. Carriers know people only see the word FREE.

ST has been selling brand new iPhone 13's with warranty for $199 (+ one month plan) for months, no reason to pay $200 for used.

How so ? A ai button ? I'm 43 yrs old I don't really care to use a ai button? 13 has a better camera . I believe better battery life also but don't quote me on that. I got 3 months service vs 1 . Out the door cost 16e was 400 one month service , I payed 240$ 13 and 3 months service.
Significantly better battery life and USB-C for starters

That's a very good deal though getting $100 for 4 lines and free four $1000 phones.

$100 per month * 36 months = $3600
Four $1000 phones = $4000

The piece of shit "used to be Walmart pricing" T-Mobile cannot even compete with Verizon.
I tried testing this deal and it's not giving me the $100 for 4 lines deal. The best I can get is $120 for 4 lines. Can't seem to find how to get that additional $5 off.

It's showing up for me. Did you do four eligible trade-ins (Apple, Google, Samsung)? And are you looking at the part highlighted in blue that says "with Auto Pay and paper-free billing"? And did you make sure all four lines are on the Welcome Plan?

This deal is not about the plan, no one is gonna use the $60 plan, pay 1 month of service, wait 1 month for it to be unlocked, then you can use whatever plan from whatever carrier you like.

It isn't the same as previous offer. Previously I would activate send message and it would answer saying in 60d or something it would unlock this time around it said already unlocked while the device is still locked.
That isn't my first time buying from straight talk, with the SIM card I didn't need to contact CS. Maybe my concern wasn't clear but I am afraid that because of activation by phone call it gets in a different sort of process thus not unlocking automatically.

This is the same as every ST deals. The unlock message bugs have been mention several times (not sure in this thread or the ST thread) that it will show your phone is unlocked (bugged on ST server). Instead what you will do is wait 60 days from the activation date and check back the unlocked status in your phone setting. Also as long as you can send messages, make phone calls and use data, your phone should have been activated successfully

Not easy to see when you're using it outside. I would suggest getting an anti-reflective screen cover.
That's why I decided against this and got the 14 pro used. Thank you
