No. It's for an SDS. Tho they can be put into a normal drill just not as effective

I have this kit and bought at full price since I needed to put some holes in concrete to finish a project. With my SDS hammer drill, they go through anything. Great kit, assuming you have an SDS drill.

Get one, I've used mine a handful of times as just a DIYer and it was well worth the cost. You can find a refurbed bosch one for around $120.

Yeah. I bought an SDS for some demo on some tile work that had concrete under it. SDS plus a tile 'scraper' made it really easy.

I would like to install my own railings on the new concrete top, will this work with a regular drill or impact driver?

For what it's worth, I've had a bad experience with these bits. I've had better experience with Bosch's SDS bits.

I was actually going to ask if anyone had complared them to bosh. Bosh is king of drill bits IMHO and since I'll be using these to drill holes for a lift I want to use the best to make sure they go in straight. Guess I'll pass on this.

Same reason I finally got mine. Everything comes up easily and much cleaner. Also helped me drill a bunch of holes into concrete as easily as wood. It took forever when I did it with a common 18v hammer drill.

I have a Ridgid 18V hammer and 18V SDS. The hammer portion on the SDS is night and day compared to the hammer function on the drill. So agreed
