I purchased the Asus open box for $372 but with cash back sites and points from Amex, it will be $346 all in. I could be biased but I'd go for Asus - I avoid Dell in general.

I would suggest anyone buying Dell now to not pay for higher priced warranty add-ons as they don't honor what the warranty says.

I'm going to go with laptops/desktops - not too bad. Servers/enterprise hardware: ask the lawyer to read the fine print.
~ Your workload (tons of tabs, RDP, Teams) hits the CPU hardest.
~ Dell's Core i7 is stronger than Asus's Core Ultra 5.
~ Dell's RAM upgrade is a big plus.
Get the Dell. Upgrade the RAM to 32GB and call it a day.

As for the other issues, one was a brand new Dell 6K 32" monitor that had discoloration. Jumped through all their hoops taking pics, etc., and after almost 2 weeks was finally approved for an exchange (still within return period). They needed a CC for the advanced exchange -- fine. I did that and within minutes, I got an email that the exchange was declined! More back and forth with the tech support people telling me the case is with some team or another for another week until I finally got with Dell Care and asked for a return where I got a label in my inbox and sent that thing back. The bureaucracy at Dell is deep.
