Plus each one came with a $200 BB gift card on top. They also had deals for iphone 12 series trade in.
So you'd need an iphone pro max if you wanted a Pro XL otherwise the trade in values were significantly lower.
I traded in a 12 pro for Pixel 9pro 256gb and paid $100 but with the $200 gift card on top I still came out $100 ahead in the end.
I wanted a Pro XL but the trade in of my 12 pro was only like $400 towards the Pro XL so I had to stick with the 9 Pro. They were strict with the trade in values that you had to trade for the equivalent tier on the Pixel.
Figured I'd mention it in case someone sees this and wants to wait for next year.

Traded in a Pixel 8 for $320, and my total after taxes is $317.67. I didn't need it but this is a great deal.
My credit card got charged $1,178.68
I tried to point out the problem to Bestbuy CS, but they were too stupid to realize what I was saying and kept telling me that I'll get whatever the value is ($60 estimated), plus a $200 bonus back for my trade-in....completely missing the point that I was charged $536.25 more than what I agreed to on the order summary screen. Talk about bait and switch....sheesh.
