DCF901B (Similar torque specs for breakaway/fastening) has lowes buy1/get1 which will come with a 5amp battery for $150 total price. If you need a battery, that may be an option too.

As for quality, I would say those specs are OK for most applications for the general homeowner. That said, it may not take care of everything. I have an older DCF894B (similar specs) that couldn't break free the anode rod from my water heater.

We're a Ryobi family but this is a respectable price. Handy tool to have if you're a shade-tree mechanic.

I have the 450ft/lb version. For most things that aren't seized this would work ok including lug nuts. If anything seized I usually need a mid (650) or high torque (1100) for those

The 901 is a 12v tool though.

Weird that Dewalt has so many nearly the same tools. This isn't bad but I would have assumed it was a DCF921 until I read the thread, didn't realize they made a slightly less powerful 911.

This is the Max line. They have 3: Atomic, Max, XR. The XR line is the more powerful one and for mid-torque applications and the money, i'd get the XR version.
This is the mid-torque model I believe more people would benefit from in an impact wrench:

Detent pin, hog anvil, pick and choose. Same with tool connect, I don't care for it so I get the non-version but lowes didn't have a link for it handy so I got lazy.

It's a job in itself keeping track of dewalts lineups. Torque test channel mapped all the impact wrenches out so you can compare https://youtu.be/yu1VGp-HSZs?si=LP9E9mc8dlEalQB0

I think most people would want the newer DCF891 or variants. This appears to be a tool connect upgrade of the older DCF894 which has lower torque.

This isn't a matter of features, it's a matter of a completely different generation of tool.

Is this the wrench to take out the lug nuts on cars?

In most cases, yes, larger vehicles and particularly corroded/stubborn lugs might not come loose with an impact with this torque level though. A DCF891 would probably be better, but in most cases this should be fine.
