Called into T-Mobile today because I got a text saying my plan is increasing by $5/line since my older T-Mobile One plan has been the same price for 8 years. The rep told me that there is a targeted offer available to some older plans that started today 3/13/25. Bring your own device and get a free line. I had to pay $10 for a sim card, but they were able to credit me $10 to my account.

Worth a try to call in if you have an older plan. YMMV.

Got denied via Costco phone number and T-Force via FB. Have 2 lines on Go5G Plus with 1 free line. Should I just keep trying?

I called the number listed in Tlife app, requested physical SIM card send to me. No text message yet, has been 2 days, the SIM should be at my house tomorrow. I chat with an agent on Tlife app, he confirmed the line is free, once I got the SIM card, just pop it in my phone and go. I took the screen shot for record. I got One plan with 7 lines, 3 lines free, this is my 4th free.

They have big issue with physical sim order this time. I think they changed something on activating new lines. You are supposed to see the new number shows up when the SIM card ships, if you don't see the new number when you receive the new SIM card, then you are probably screwed and not able to get the line free.

T-Mobile military plan here. No free lines, shittier promos, price increase.

Not sure why they hate Veterans. Thankfully I kept a free line Sprint gave me when T-Mobile took them over.

I got hit by the first price hike months back ($5 per line). I didn't see another price hike this weekend hit my account. Is this meant as a second sweep for those who weren't hit last time, or will I be seeing another price hike?

I want to try for the free line. If I am able to get it, apparently it doesn't qualify for any phone upgrade promos, but will it be subject to having to pay for that line at some point if they decide to do another price hike?

Yes, this was the second sweep. If you didn't get the text this time you're good.

I saw the offer i the Tlife app. Called and was told I qualify, despite having several free lines from past promotions. The rep waived the $10 fee; so I am now waiting for the SIM card, and confirmation of the details.
I will find out how much my bill will increase after April 2; I am expecting $15, but I do wonder if the internet line is subject to the increase.
I am on the ONE plan.

I have "2 Lines ONE Plan All In Promo" plan, which is limited to 2 lines + 1 free, no Netflix, used to be $80 now $90 (minus kickback(s)). Online rep said my plan doesn't allow any more (free) lines, (unlike the other ONE plan)Rep said T-Mobile had this promo for my plan last year, I guess when they raised the price by $10. I wish I knew, I never check T-Life app.Did anyone with my plan get 2nd free line? If so, was it now or last year? Was it in T-Life app? Thanks
Totally Same

What a nightmare I've called 3 separate times now to get the free line added to my account and still hasn't registered properly on my account.

It's a sign. The system won't allow it.

The line won't show up on the account? Or the line shows up but the promo fails to apply to the line?

On Friday I was charged the activation fee and the SIM was delivered the very next day. The promotion never showed up on my account and when I tried activating the SIM on my old iPhone, it wasn't registered to a number. The rep I talked to on Sunday created a new line under my freedom plan but failed to put it towards the free line promotion of what appears should be ID250259. I called again Sunday evening because I checked my account activity and the new line was added as part of my freedom plan of 35 per month for new line. The CARE agent worked with their manager to put a ticket in to manually get the promotion added to the new line that was activated today. Time will tell if they get it manually added correctly sigh

Talked to chat rep and she said I had too many free lines already. This is probably a nice deal if it works but I'm not gonna chance it even if I find a rep who will manage to apply it.
So that's one reason i don't even want to try - right now i have 12 lines and 2 mobile internet lines.

I have a feeling i can't have anymore lines on my account, am on the One plan.

The reps don't manually put the line under a promotion. As long as your account was eligible and had the segment, anyone who added a line would get it free, as the system would auto apply the promotion

A rep overseas could do it, TForce in the US, Costco, etc. even you could do it. If you went to a T-Mobile store they'd make you pull up the TLife app and add the line yourself. TForce has actually been telling people to just add the line yourself so you don't have the $10 fee.

The last free line promos worked like this as well. People just added it themselves in the app once they confirmed they were eligible
