I went to check it out and it looks nice. However, they had the Philips oled next to the budget $300-400 TVs so it was hard to compare it to other OLEDs. I'll be upgrading from an older budget TCL, so I'm sure it'll be huge improvement. Anyone think it would be a terrible idea to drive it home laying flat for 15-20min?

It's fine transporting it flat (horizontal) as long as it's in original packaging. It's a concern stated in the user manual when moving the TV itself when unboxed.

It says variable refresh available on port 2
any chance you'd be willing to test the other ports?

Is the warranty through sams?
If no longer a member, warranty should still work?
If TV is disconnected from internet (use firestick), would ads still cycle through whatever is in cache, cycle blank or not show up?
Thanks
It says a 3-year manufacturer warranty, so that should be through Phillips and you would still be fine. Now, whether Phillips is good about warranty service, that's an entirely different issue.

Thanks. I thought it was 3 year exclusive for members, vs the special price exclusive for members.
That would be a good move, however, to keep members (hostage via warranty), like Tmobile gives free phone via 24 monthly credits.

I would love to have this TV, but FedEx has lost it. No, literally, they seem to have lost my TV. I've contacted them via phone, and online support ticket. No response on the support ticket.

Ordered Mar 18, shipped Mar 20 from Indianapolis, IN, with an estimated delivery Mar 24. The problem is it wasn't delivered, and the last known status is Mar 22 at a FedEx hub in Bloomington, CA. That's right, they shipped it from Indiana to California to get it to Pennsylvania. FedEx is messed up.

Update. They found it, and it's supposed to be delivered today, Mar 27 (undamaged, fingers crossed). No delivery time window, just by 8pm. The lack of communication and lousy experience of buying a TV Sam's/FedEx makes me think I won't be buying anything of value from Sam's again if it has to be shipped. If it's in store, no problem, but shipping was the only option.

I just got mine today. There was a problem right out of the box. The box was relatively undamaged, super dusty though, what's that all about? There were some large rub marks on the side and a small hole, but nothing that appears to have reached the screen. Unfortunately, after unboxing I immediately noticed the screen is curved by about an inch, it's clearly bowed when you look at the top of the screen from the side. I don't think it's supposed to be that way. Strangely, it doesn't appear to affect the video quality as far as I can tell. There's no obvious defects to the image, but still, I'm taking it back. I just can't accept that deformity. Look over yours carefully when you get it.

It's the best deal in OLED TVs right now, and it's no sale till 6 April.

FedEx delivered the TV yesterday, and I'm relieved that Philips did an excellent job with the packaging because FedEx didn't handle the TV with much care. I was very anxious when I saw the TV in the FedEx truck, but my stress level went way down as I unpacked it. Not a single scratch or defect on the set! The picture quality is even better than my 4 year old LG OLED (55B9PUA), which is a huge plus. Overall, my first impressions are very positive!

Attached are some pics.

My Sam's Club has at least 3 on the floor but 0 in display to compare. $900 is too much of a risk as much as I want to give it a chance. The other Sam's is 40 minutes away and no guarantee it's on display. My experience with Sam's Club on the floor staff knowledge has been on par with Walmart so I'm not sure I even want to risk calling in

Honestly, the only risk is the possibility of wasting your own time if you don't like it. You can't get that back, but Sam's gives you 90 days to return it, plenty of time to decide if you like it or not. I found the picture to be pretty amazing.

Personally, after my recent experience, I would "only" buy it if it were in stock/on floor, FedEx shipping ended up being a nightmare. Also, it fit just fine in the back of a RAV4. The whole "TVs must be transported vertically" is an urban myth as far as I'm concerned. They pack these TVs better than they used to. I think you're far more likely to have a better experience (undamaged TV) carefully laying it down on its side for the short trip home from your local store rather than if FedEx or UPS transports it.

Just a heads up if you have an Xbox and want 120hz 4 k. That only works with HDMI port 4 for us. 2 & 3 were 60 hz

That's weird because from what I could find online, Ports 1 & 2 were the 2.1 ports with eARC on port 2 as well. Does port 1 also do 4k 120hz for you?
