FYI Google has discontinued their tablet lineup due to low sales. Pixel tab 2 was all built and ready to go but the business unit was scraped at the last minute. I wouldn't buy this tablet for more than $200. It is criminal to have as 60hz display at this price range.

Ignore the comment above. Only the Pixel Tablet "2" was canceled for this year, a 3 which will become the 2 is going to be released in a couple of years. Also not an issue is the 60hz display, since this tablet has a pretty solid battery life.
I'd rather have a flagship processor with a 60hz display that never slows down than a 90hz display with frequent stutters or lags. Though yes I don't think this is the ideal price, I'd wait for $199 or $229.

I was part of the engineering team on the tablet projects but left it since it wasn't doing well. I joined the maps org now
Why are companies refusing to include micro SD slot, and headphone port?
I have an iPad and I thought the USB-c port would finally alleviate this issue... But it doesn't read my USB drives and SSD most of the time, whereas my android phone has no issue.
Anyway, that is to say, internal storage is always preferable. These companies purposefully gimp their products, and then wonder why they don't sell well.
At this price... it is a steal IMHO. It is about 25% faster then the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 CPU... so about 25% faster then the low end Chinese tablets that sell for $140ish but what this gives you is UPDATES and a real nice screen. It is more then fast enough to have a very good android experience.
I would watch a Youtube review. But I figure $140 + $40 (25% faster) = $180 - $280 = this leaves you with $100 for updates and a better screen... money well worth spent.
Because of updates, google is the only company I feel comfortable doing my banking and online buying. Either a google branded devices or a Microsoft devices... this is my perception.
I wish I needed a 11" tablet, but I don't .

Because they can't sell cloud storage with a micro SD slot or Bluetooth headphones with a headphone jack

oh that's a shame they did that.. they should have done better for the ecosystem
Entirely depends on what apps you use. For the vast majority, it won't make a difference. But there are specific apps on iOS not on Android, and visa versa.
Ad-blocking and downloading files are much better on Android, if that makes a difference.
When I get a Android Tablet, these are the features I look for.
Install Kiwi Browser... this is open source FULL chrome browswer where you can install Chrome Addons.
GREAT ADD BLOCKER, the only one to consider is Ublock Orign and Google just took this app off of the Chrome Store so you need to side load it onto Kiwi.
There is a way to install FULL Youtube for free.
There is a way to install a addon to by pass any paid site for reading articles, using Kiwi
