I was in the market for a 1440p OLED, high refresh rate monitor but not exactly in a rush...this deal on top of the amex savings you pointed out made this a no brainer (along with some other cb savings...). Thanks for posting this!

Gratz! I paid a lot more for mine, and I'm extremely happy with it. The motion clarity is unreal.

UPS has mine and should be here tomorrow. Paid $344 after taxes 🙏

If you count dell rewards it's $308, I don't really count that as cash though, doubt I'll use the rewards.

No, the only inputs are 2X display port and 1X HDMI 2.0 speeds (2.1 hdmi spec listed approaches false advertisement). USB ports act as a simple device hub, i.e. connecting keyboard and mouse. At least one of USB the ports can supply 7W of power for charging of devices like phones.

Good to see that OLED monitors are beginning to be more common. 360Hz though is complete overkill, it's like if the monitor had 8K resolution.

There's almost nothing that can make use of it, and even if there was you wouldn't be able to see the difference. 144 and 165Hz are ideal refresh rates, professional gamers might see a tiny benefit from 240Hz, but any more than that is either imperceptible or too fast to affect gameplay.

144 and 165 are not ideal refresh rates because they are not divisible by 24 and 30 which is what most video content aims for.

Do you think this is the best monitor money you can buy in the $600 range?

1440p is not worth buying unless dirt cheap. Wait and buy 32 inch 4k. The MSI 321UP was $699 this past holiday season.

I use my 4k OLED for both work and play.

Terrible statement. If you're looking to actually play at the high refresh this monitor supports (and not just benefit from the other bonuses of a 360hz panel) then most people cannot achieve anywhere close to that if going with 4K. Even 1440p, if you're playing on ultra settings, requires a pretty beefy computer for newer games.

Don't get me wrong, 4K is nice, but really depends what you're after. For some people, 1440p + Ultra settings is preferable over 4K + Med/High Settings.

Work being the keyword. Just about every screen I have is OLED, and have been that way for at least 5 years. But at low PPI, oled of any type does not render text nearly as well as IPS/VA. To have the text clarity of a 1440p IPS panel, You kind of need 4K if you use oled. This is because the sub pixel layout is not RGB, but triangular. Cell phone get around this by having extreme high PPIs, like 400 to 500, but we're talking about 110 here.
Play games and media? absolutely not a problem.
