My opinion is that Macy's suits and sport coats are garbage.

Good for college kids or if you only need one interview/wedding but if you're starting out in a career where they are required, there are better values out there. I just got a super 110 100% wool suit from spier & Mackay for 200.

I disagree. I have been wearing Macy jackets and suits for over 10 years. I work as a senior leader in a Fortune 100 company. I have worn these suits at interviews and felt very confident. The suits fit well and look great. Expensive isn't always better. Although to each its own but those looking for suits, give it a try and see if it fits good.

Not saying this isn't a deal but falsely inflated regular prices should be called out.

Yes I comment on this alot, if you have a problem with that mute me. This is a deceptive practice. I will post on this until they ban me for it.

You can get some really nice sports coats from eBay. I got a Brookes Brothers for $45 shipped, and a Canali that needed the buttons replaced for $60. I do have a couple 100% wool suits from macys. They are ok. I only wear suits/jackets 15-20 times a year.

I think TJ Maxx was hit w a class action suit over their "compare to $$$" inflated prices. I was in Belk's recently and say some similar costs marked down. Their sticker price was $600. I doubt they ever sold one for the sticker price.
