hiring a landscape company to mow and maintain your yard will save you a lot of time for other activities and save a lot of room in your garage/shed
I did outsource for 5 years to a mowing company. They used to charge $30/mow for my .2 acre lot in the beginning and slowly increased the charges. Now it is $55/mow. Also, they want to mow my lawn every other week whether the grass grows or not. It is not affordable anymore, so I am looking to mow myself this season onwards.

Do they have a combo with blower and trimmer with additional batteries?

Thank you.
It does seem to be a pita for turning. Does your yard have slopes and does the mower navigate easier through those?

My lawn is as flat as can be.

Has this been cheaper in the past?
Also, EGO seems to get better reviews overall for performance.

I used to do that when it was $20 per mow. It's now up to $65 per mow. And if I'm being honest with myself, the forced exercise is good for me, too. It's no longer worth it to pay others for this, in my opinion.

Maybe if I were still working for myself and effectively was paid hourly, but I'm salaried these days and there's no way to "work an extra hour to pay it off".

Blower sucks had to upgrade to the 800cfm version, lawn mower sucks on slightly wet grass, string trimmer is the only half decent thing here but eats battery like crazy.

I have two of these blowers and they rock. Really powerful, comparable to my backpack gas one. The battery doesn't last more than some 15min in the highest though so don't get it for large job.

Edit: sorry I realize my model is the 800cfm one, they look just the same so I don't know about this model

How is the Lawn Mower in terms of forward propelling and cutting?
I have a Honda lawn mower, Ryobi 18v string trimmer and blower (although the head of the string trimmer is cracked and I am scared to use it nowadays thinking that it may come apart at high speed). I am happy with the string trimmer and blower as they are good at what the function is and I use it about 3-4 times a year only.

The Honda self-propelled lawn mower (FWD, I think) is hard on the back especially on slopes, and I avoid mowing much nowadays because of that until the grass grows to a point where I cannot avoid it any further. I have heard that battery powered lawn mowers are light and easy to use.
I have the 40V model and it is lighter than the Honda BUT where the Honda will eat through anything without a splutter the same is not true of the electric model, so imo you will need to use the electric mower more often and/or need 2 batteries.

I have all these tools. They work just fine like gas tool. But you should get 2 4A batteries to run everything if you have a big yard.

I've been watching EGO mowers for over 10 years, and started out with a relatively high opinion of them; the time has not yet come for them to shut up and take my money. Look at the reviews that complain about customer service and unwarranteed battery failures - just like Greenworks - and decide if you want to roll the dice on that with your money. Greenworks is what Costco sells, so if and when I am forced into buying one of these by circumstance, I will get it there, absolutely not direct.

My attitude here comes from only needing disposable 21" mowers for certain areas, and having lost a lifetime's worth of enthusiasm for throwing a few hundred more bucks on the fire / in the landfill as frequently as The Economy demands me to.
