Thin pillows can be helpful for people with neck pain or TMJ. It takes a little getting used to but has made a big difference for me. I'm currently using BlueWave pillows, which seem similar to what is posted. Those run $30-60, so this seems like a pretty decent deal if the quality is comparable.

Received (via Amazon) and have been sleeping on it, very nice and comfortable in my opinion. Took off the cover and replaced it with a 100% silk cover I used on my previous thin pillow. Helps with the temps and is better for your hair (less bedhead in the morning). I used to like big pillows, but have since switched to thinner ones, with no plans to go back. I personally am a back/side sleeper and this pillow is perfect for my use case. GF has been having shoulder/neck pain from an injury, and she seems to enjoy this pillow as well.

I got one a while back on Secondipity brand new for $9. Its not bad at all but odd to use a regular pillow case with it and I don't know of compatible pillowcase made for this. I would gladly take one with it instead of the cheap eye mask.

As a side note, the pillow is so thin that it is quite awkward in a standard pillowcase. I wonder what option would be good for a pillowcase for it.
You can make a pillowcase for it.

I ended up grabbing one, and it's not bad. I'm all over when I sleep and have occasional neck/back pain, though more so related to the Army than the way I sleep. I always start on my side, but will often end up on my back or stomach. So I don't know that I'll ever find the "perfect" pillow, but I don't have any complaints about this one. I gave it a day to fluff from the vacuum seal it came in. Didn't notice any smells or off-gassing with mine. I usually fold it in half when I'm on my side and then flatten it when I rotate. I wish it were a cooling pillow, but other than that, it serves its purpose. Haven't had it long enough to really say if I feel better using it.

I bought this one last time, it feels very nice, feels like my head is getting sucked into sleep.
It would have been better if were a bit thinner. To me, this one feels like a normal medium thickness.

Never heard of this but i immediately bought one. Thick pillows hurt my neck and i usually just sleep without one but still miss the cushion/neck support. Hopefully this is a decent middle ground

Odd that it comes with a eye mask and a bag(why?) but not a pillowcase. All non-standard pillows should come with at least 1 pillow case.
Not machine washable which is a letdown since a lot of memory foam pillows these days are.

I have and swear by my (Bluewave) 3.25" pillow. It's perfect for me regardless of back or side sleeping. Got my wife a latex pillow which is a lot thicker, but oddly enough, it's perfect for me too. Head sinks through to about the same height. It just offers a more cushy feeling. I wouldn't go thinner than the 3.25"...
2.6" seems like it'd best fit a kid.

I just got this delivered and it sinks in a lot more than I thought it would. Does your bluewave pillow sink in a lot?

I like the "sinking-in" feeling, but was worried about that too since it's a thin pillow. I'd say maybe my head sinks in to about the half way point. I wouldn't describe it as "a lot". Overall I'm super happy with it. I'm amazed at how thick my pillows have always been for this pillow to align everything so well.
