I did this in the past but don't remember how long ago it was and whether I would be eligible again yet. Is there any way to tell when you last got the card? Also, I assume the 48 months is from previous sign up date?

Guess I will wait for the "official" link to go live, whatever that means. Been waiting forever for this to come back to get my wife on it. She just has an old school Freedom card right now, and will easily meet the spend for this. We funnel all the points into my Sapphire Reserve for the travel bonus and/or partner transfer. In this case, this is worth essentially $1500 - $95 for us to do this.

I've had my Reserve over 4 years now, and the salty annual fee is due next month. Kind of tempted to cancel it and take advantage of this offer for myself. I know canceling is a no/no versus downgrading for credit score purposes, but I am not sure what I could downgrade to. I already have all their other products (I think).

I have done the same. Messaged support was told to message again after the points appeared and they added 20k.
