Then after 1 year, if you are really missing the Reserve's perks, could turn the Preferred back into a Reserve.
Some hoops to jump through, but 100k points is 100k points.
If you use the $50 hotel credit you can reduce the annual fee by up to $50, their portal typically is slightly higher cost for hotels which is why up to $50 in value.
You can also downgrade to a chase freedom card after 1 year.
Shocking! Seems they are getting strict with approving. never heard of being asked for W2 when signing up for CC
EDIT: found email from 5/3/21 " Let the adventure begin" so assuming that date. Looks like month and half. Unless it is the date you hit the spend limit and got the bonus.

It's not official yet since Chase.com bonus still shows $600
They verify income . They said 125k annual salary is fine but said I maybe doing this to get the bonus and have had this card 7 yrs ago and kept for only two yrs . That's why they said they deny
