I'd still caution buying from Amazon. They lump all the products in the same batch from 3rd parties and distributors. It would still be a gamble if you got a legit one or fake.

Best to buy directly from retailers like Nordstrom.

Agree! I had bad experience buying fragrances from Amazon. What I got were fakes.

For everyone complaining about Amazon selling fake fragrances, you do realize that as long as it is in stock at Nordstrom's that they will price match it.. No questions asked!
You can even chat with customer service prior to placing an order and they will adjust the price and then send you a link to purchase.

I have now done this three separate times without any issues.
Nordstrom's has some of the best customer service I've experienced as well, as I noticed one of my fragrances was leaking after having it for several months. I chatted with customer service and they immediately sent me a prepaid label to send it back and refunded me fully once they received it!

Say it loud!! You are giving a problem solved solution. Which I have just learned from this post and utilized and individuals are still talking about Amazon. I have bought fragrances from Amazon that I redeemed real by having others, but buying from Nordstrom's price matched scenario relieves the headaches of wondering if you are buying a counterfeit.

Again problem solved for Amazon discounted fragrances.

Tried to price-match just now and rep wouldn't honor it. Said it's on a Limited-Time sale currently at Nordstrom and their policy is "Price adjustments do not apply to items included in Limited-Time Sale, Extra Savings, Anniversary Sale, Daily Deals or Beauty Daily Deals promotions." I asked when their limited-time sale was ending and she wasn't sure, said to check the site every day.

Sometimes its clearly obvious. But, most of the time, with fragrances, how would you know its a fake? Smells the same, maybe doesn't last as long? Obviously, some of the cheaper fakes will NOT smell the same.

Chatted with another CS rep who initially said they wouldn't price-match because it's non-returnable, lol. I asked her to check any fragrance sold and shipped by Amazon and they'll all say non-returnable because it's classified as a hazardous item. When I sent her their policy and she reviewed other fragrances she finally agreed to price-match. Price was $55.03 plus tax.
