To anyone asking about the Q10 and the Alice layout:

If you're considering an Alice layout keyboard, specifically the Keychron Q10, I can confidently say it's a fantastic choice—especially for developers and typists. I use it all day long for work using reds (linear). I am currently typing on a Q10 Pro as we speak.
Build & Layout

Keychron has done an excellent job with the layout and finish of this board. The subtle ergonomic angle of the Alice layout provides just the right amount of wrist relief, which you'll appreciate if you spend all day typing. It's incredibly easy to adjust to, as long as you don't rely on looking down at the keys while typing.
Typing Experience

The dual spacebar might look odd at first, but it feels completely natural in use.
The two B keys may seem unusual, but you'll instinctively lean toward one over time.
Key placement is intuitive, and I don't find myself missing any keys compared to a traditional full-sized keyboard.
Quirks

Not Ideal for Gaming – I wouldn't recommend it if gaming is your primary use case.
Num Key Adjustment – If you frequently work with numbers (Excel users, accountants, etc.), the lack of a traditional number pad could be a significant adjustment. Even after a year, I still haven't fully adapted to the num row.
Macro Keys – The dedicated macro keys are a nice touch, but I personally haven't programmed them since I already rely on existing keyboard shortcuts.
Connectivity & Multi-Device Pairing

One standout feature is its ability to pair with multiple computers, making it extremely convenient for those who switch between devices regularly.
Final Thoughts

If you're a developer, writer, or someone who spends long hours typing, the Keychron Q10 is an excellent ergonomic option. The Alice layout provides subtle but noticeable wrist relief, and the keyboard feels premium for the price point. However, if you work extensively with numbers or need a gaming keyboard, you might want to consider other options.

Would I recommend it? Absolutely—just not for gaming or heavy number entry.

Also, the $10 dollars off is a nice touch

Any hobbyists got a review for the build quality of the Alice layout? I've been wanting to get an Alice layout keeb and this is the first time I've seen one so cheap.

Why is a gaming keyboard with Bluetooth connection?
Because slapping gaming on it makes the kids buy it. I've got a TKL, and the bluetooth has a tendency to get laggy and I have to turn it off and on. It's a good keyboard, better than the random cheap junk on Amazon, but it's nothing amazing. Better then my Ducky One 3. Still mad at how bad that keyboard was.

These are decent keyboards, but the MSRP on some is laughable.

If you don't have to worry about sound you should be going blue in that case. If you have to worry about how loud your keyboard is then yeah you want Brown

I used to really like my Microsoft 4000(maybe?) ergonomic keyboard.
I have used one since they came out... i have 3 sitting in my closet, brand new in the box for failures. Worried they will discontinue them.

You have spare 4000s (like me) or spare keychrons?

Does Keychron have an Alice layout keyboard with a dedicated END button, but without the numeric pad?
I dunno. But they are easily re-programmable through Chrome if you have the End key cap to put in its place. Of course, you give up what's currently there.

I have 2 of the Q8s and I have the two buttons underneath the knob programs as Home and Page Up, respectively. With End and Page Down programmed as the secondary key with Fn1. So Fn1 + Home = End and Fn1 + Page Up = Page Down. I forget what Fn2 and either button does, however.

I love the Alice layout in general and won't use anything else if I can help it. I'm trying to convince myself that I don't need the Q10 though. I actually think I might win this argument with myself.

Hm which ones the quietest? Something with red switches I'm guessing?
I just bought a K10 with red switches on sale for $60 on Amazon. It's not quiet at all (despite the fact that the reds are supposedly the quietest option - I can't imagine how loud the other options are). I bought some "silent" switches off Amazon and they were louder than the reds.

Regardless, I love the K10. I got the base model, not the Pro as I wanted backlighting.Typing mistakes/mishits are way down.

I second this. 75% layout is popular for gaming. And I recommend red switches. I'm typing this reply on a Q1 with red switches. It's my favorite keyboard.

Yes, there are several models with and without function keys row but no numpad -- you should check the Keychron website and do the research.

As someone posted later, you can remap the keys to have END on the primary layer or on a secondary layer. You can replace the keycap if you want, but the keyboard probably won't come with the extra keycap to match the rest of the board.
