Wonder if it's targeted. I don't get the 20% coupon.

Still a great deal without!

Optimum is certified, so when it comes to any protein powder they are one of the safest options.

Surprisingly no sucralose and acesulfame K, but I wonder if this is heavy metal tested

Certified only means it is what it claims to be - it doesn't mean it doesn't have dangerous levels of toxic heavy metals that were never tested for

Isn't it true that it's no more toxic than any other food you eat that grows in the earth ?

Not when you only take a tiny concentrated part of the plant known to accumulate heavy metals and multiply that tens of thousands times over to extract just the protein - which would be equivalent to probably several years' consumption worth of the entire plant to achieve the same protein level

Fair enough. I can say that I'm pretty confident that you're safe with this one. I am paranoid when it comes to what I put in my body and ON was recommended to me by a nutritionist about a year and a half ago (whey version not this plant version). I've drank at least 2 servings a day since, not as a meal replacement but just addition to my diet/post work out. I am 35, I don't take any medication and pass my yearly assessments where I receive discounts on insurance and a bonus for being fit. This has been the best one I've found for digestion, gains, mixing and flavor (ON whey). That being said it's an unregulated market. But the reality is unless you are drinking out of a spring, eating out of a non-gmo garden, processing/packing/storing your own meat, you are playing roulette with what you're putting in your body regulated or not.
