I used my ID once and it never let me use it again for another deal, it seems the ID quota is only one.

Reps to who can tell me the best way to get a new phone number to port in for this deal.

I don't plan on using the phone for actual cell service, so unlocking is not necessary. I just want a decent android device to use. Thanks in advance!

Update: I ordered a number for $5 from numberbarn, enabled SMS on it, then was able to port it to order this Motorola Edge for free + $55 the plan. Thanks FabulousStranger526!

If I reactivate it by paying for the second month and then insert a visible SIM card and use it, will it be unlocked later?

Thanks for the info. My 4 lines have staggered activation date, with exp date 4/28, 5/2, 5/8, 5/9. To ensure that each will have 30 more days added, and not wanting to make 4 calls to C.S, I will let them all expire then call C.S. on 5/10 and ask the rep to add the $10 plan to all 4 lines at the same time.

In your case, I've one data point .. since we cannot find $10 voice/text only plan on TW site, it may only be offered for settling FCC complains. YMMV.
I believe some people got it because they might have activated under the older unlock policy and filed an FCC complaint when their phone not unlocked after 60 days. When you get a call back from TW, that time you have chance to negotiate and get this $10 plan for all your lines.

I tried putting in a Mint Mobile SIM card today and it didn't work

Visible SIM cards can be used but they are not unlocked

I was hoping it would auto unlock but now I have given up and have to call Total Wireless

and ask for a $10 plan

I called total wireless customer service, and they changed my plan to $10 for 2 phones. Total $22.24. Hope both of them get unlocked after 60 days.

Based on the attached screenshots, each point is worth 1 cent. 5,000 pts for a $50 time plan. The amount required to renew my 3 lines (one line expired today) is $71.84 ot 7,184 points.

Are you sure the $10 plan is per month. What I am hearing from rep on the phone is that $10 plan is for 7 days of service. Can you confirm, pl.

I activated it on February 25th and it should have been unlocked on April 26th but it didn't happen

I called customer service today and changed it to a $10 plan
When I asked to change to the $10 plan, they said they would do it right away without saying no.


It's annoying to wait another month but it's hard to buy a phone like this for $65 total

I personally really like the Edge 2024. It's light and thin.

Was able to get the $10 Unlimited Talk and Text, 1 Line, 30 Days plan through chat. Was super easy, now to wait another 30.

Just curious, what does your plan say now on that line in your TW account? Does it show the next due date as 30 days out?
