39% off is a great deal. But not extremely rare - it's going on sale every few month for this price. We use it not only on carpets but also on our tiled floor. I disabled the filter with a zip tie—otherwise, it's a bit too sensitive to rough handling. It comes with an extension hose for cleaning couches and beds. It completely replaced our regular stick vacuum cleaner. You can however not turn off the five rotating brushes - fine for us, or rental space has worn off floors anyhow.
