Damn. I gotta try it someday. I have been seeing these deals pop up over the past 5-7 years. Interesting off-topic conversations as always ensued. I have been using H&S for so long that I became complacent and too lazy to switch to anything else given that H&S works fine. Tempting to try it.

You've toiled for over 5 years about trying a $8 shampoo?

General, off the wall question...Which is better or is there much difference among Paul Mitchell, L'oreal or Tre'Semme? Or does it largely depend on the specific shampoo/conditioner within the line?

Yea was thinking the same. On one hand I'm jealous that I can't devote enough time to shampoo research. Other hand I'm glad that I don't need a deal alert for $8.

It is not so much the money. I just never switched to any brand. I am on S&S Head and Shoulders subscription, and it works well. No dandruff. I never had a reason to change other than seeing recurring SD deals that peak my curiosity but not enough to switch brands. I am a creature of habit. Before H&S I was on that Neutrogena T Sal Shampoo for a decade and then they changed the product and it started to smell like gasoline pushing me to switch to another brand, which was H&S.

My SO gets all the fancy stuff and all the fancy brands. I am very content with H&S. I continue to visit Paul Mitchell threads because I liked the discussions in the past.

As you know, Slick Dealers are frugal by nature.

I have never like TreSemme.
