Gotta be careful with Nissan CVTs, I'd highly recommend checking the forums for people providing their experience using Valvoline in their CVT and if it had any negative affects. After doing some searching when supporting someone with a Nissan CVT, every resource pointed to only using OEM CVT fluid for Nissan transmissions.

This fluid just feels like "jack of all trades, master of none"
I wouldn't put this in ANY cvt, ESPECIALLY not in a Nissan!

I've Already done one exchange (approx 1/3rd of the total fluid) with OEM fluid and 55K miles, and another exchange using this Valvoline fluid at 70K miles (again replacing 1/3rd of the total fluid). So far I don't see any problems besides the color being red instead of green OEM color.

I expect to do a fluid change every 15K miles, so in another 2 or 3 exchanges all OEM fluid will be nearly gone and replaced with Valvoline.

If your car is under warranty, I'd agree to go with OEM or idemitsu (oem manufacturer) CVT fluid.
