Any 0% apr period on this?
Will they treat a tax payment at pay1040 as a cash advance? Most credit card vendors treat it as a purchase.

It'll often show up under reward activity as pending points fairly quick and then usually post by your next statement- though it could be your second statement if first period ended very close to the referral happening.
