For $6 more you can get their "Orange" 8" model that come with both the 6" and 8" bars. Looks like that model also has a place to pour oil into instead of putting the oil on the bar manually.

I don't even know if this thing is a good deal, but it sure looks cool. Grabbed the 8" Orange one, Thanks!

I bought two of the 8" and repped both the OP and the 8" recommender. Anybody getting in on this should do the same.

My mom has a similar version of the 6" (had it for over a year now) and she's in her late 70's and absolutely loves it. Has cut hundreds of limbs with it instead of all the manual lopping shears she used to use. Got her the 8" just so she has the oiler on the machine instead of having to hand oil it every time. Also got one for myself because it's just so handy for taking care of smaller stuff I don't need the big saw for.

I can't speak for this one but I got one from another name in the same color and it looks exactly the same just diff name stickers on it. *shrug* I just cut down 3 large bushes in my backyard using both batteries charged twice. I think one of them is defective? Regardless, this thing is a little monster. Be careful! It cuts through wood pretty good but again, it's under $30 so don't expect mircales. I also don't expect a long life with it but as long as it survives enough to get the 4th bush down and clear out the ivy I need to cut through, I'm ok.

Can someone recommend a corded mini chain saw? Now that power stations are so affordable. Hard to justify getting into all these battery systems

makita makes nice ones, although they are nowhere near this cheap

edit: I would check out local marketplace for something used. might have to replace the chain though, but that's generally cheap

I have this chainsaw just under a different brand. I love it. I can trim trees and bushes no problem. Battery lasts a decent amount of time too.

Really good deal. I like it. Cool idea. I didn't pull the trigger because I wanted to get the 8-in one for $5 more but they are out of stock. But still the smaller one is a good idea. Great price

I've been looking at getting one of these that is compatible with Dewalt batteries. I have that ecosystem and I'd like to avoid another set of batteries if I can. Thabks for posting OP

I can't help but think these items would be found in a serial killer's kit. Do we really need mini chainsaws? I suppose they could be useful during a zombie apocalypse.
