Keyboard is terrible and the trackpad, well...what trackpad? I don't see a trackpad!

Those two "features" are much talked about and are OK for some and others hate them. This is the last XPS model as Dell transitions to "Apple-like" names for their products (dumbest move ever).

Great CPU and screen but there is a reason these go on sale. It feels like everything with 16gb soldered ram is on clearance or sale nowadays. Regardless this is a fun machine for the price.

They need to do something with their naming, it is a total mess. I say this as a someone who mostly loves their XPS 9315 2-in-1

Unfortunately they just "did something" so I assume it'll be a few years before they change anything again.

Also forgot to mention one other strike against this model -- only 2 USB-C ports PERIOD. If you're charging your XPS, that leaves you one port. If you run an external monitor, it better have USB ports cuz there ain't no more on the laptop!

Not sure why this is marked "expired". There are both FAIR and GOOD units still available in my area at these posted prices.

All BestBuy open box deals are YMMV -- until the open box prices go back up or it says UNAVAILABE then it's still available somewhere (like 2 in my area).

Good deal. I would have jumped in if I hadn't got the recent Asus S14 deal for 449.

The ones before the worst trackpad and keyboard design? Agreed.
I mean, people put up with it, but I've not yet seen anyone say the new design is better than the old.

In my book, the ASUS was the better of the two. Better display, more ports and a real touchpad and normal keyboard with normal Fn keys.
