I've had two of these, but the bottom silicone gives out after 2 summers. It just cracks.
Would not recommend them if you're looking for longevity

Do you have a recommendation? Was thinking about these as an improvement over the cheaper disposable trays

At this price I would consider these disposable. Maybe not at the 20 dollar price point.

Do not buy these. They are terrible. Plastic breaks in your hands after 1 season and the rubber falls off. Wouldn't buy for $1

This kind of quality is what Burpee is now known for as even their seeds are poor quality these days...a race to the bottom

While these are XL size cells, if you're looking for more cells with the moisture dome consider something like these 10 packs with 120 total cells. There's many variations under $15 and I've used them for a few years and all are still usable.

I've had these

for two years. I've bleached them maybe 3-4 times. Little discoloration, but no cracks in plastic, no beaks in silicone.

Are you reading the same thread that's talking about the bad quality of Burpee's products?

I've had mine for more than 2 years, also have the 36 cell one but that's too small for me so I got another one of these. I don't put this out in the summer heat. Don't know why the other users had bad experience. As for the dome cover, one hack I've read is to get two of these and cover it with a standard catering tray cover. I did not do this, I just put it in clear waste bin liner with bent wires around to prop it away from the seedlings.
I also have a set of those plastic trays with covers similar to the one linked by the other commenter but those are good as single use and the cells are so small. The one I bought even has LED that you can attach on top but it was so underpowered my seedlings got leggy. I had to put them under more lights.
