3GPM if your water inlet temp is 77 degrees (ex: Hawaii), more like 1GPM in cold climate
So this is probably for low flow needs or warm climates

Yeah that's what the chart shows. At 2GPM (modern showerhead) it works down to 62F.

But this is their smaller unit so that's to be expected. FWIW I installed the largest 3 element 27kW unit at my mom's house in 2018 and it's been running solid since.
