1/10th the cost of Nintendo Switch 2 games and likely 10 times the quality. Great game. Don't give in to the crazy high prices when you can get amazing games for cheap.
This is an excellent rogue-like game and my go-to to just pick up and play, especially during a flight. With the announcement of Hades 2 for the Switch 2 yesterday, this is a no-brainer if you don't have it already.
It's a roguelike. So you will die and replay A LOT. For the first tens of attempts you will barely scratch the story, as you play over and over that game lore is gradually unfold. But what really struck me is that every single negligible NPC has a backstory and a story with the main character. Highly addictive too, be careful.

I liked Bastion, but play in handheld so it was difficult to make out details. It also was a bit lacking in overall depth. Is Hades any better in these respects?

I'll start by saying I generally hate rogue-likes. That being said, I love this game. I got freaking hooked on it. I have it on PS5. It's so addictive. I'd say it's worth full price.

They'll probably have a free upgrade patch to improve the performance on the switch 2 too. I don't think third party games will charge for it as much as Nintendo first party games.
