The previous $99 deal was the non-hammer drill with 2, 2.5ah batteries. This includes a hammer drill, a more powerful impact with a 5ah and 2.5ah batteries.

It's definitely worth an extra $50 over the other $99 deal, which I bought.

That's an understatement. This is Flex's best drill and best impact driver which are both more powerful than the similar ones by Milwaukee.

Just purchased this. I don't need it, but I did buy the older flex with the bad batteries, so this was the cheapest way to get new batteries. Now, it's a 45-minute drive to go get it.
