If you enjoy this type of game also check out Warbits+ on IOS / Android. It's basically a simplified clone of Advance Wars. Its way less polished and there's no battle animations, but there is online multiplayer with matchmaking. I actually like the rules better and play it much more frequently (I have both). www.warbits.com

I remember the first game from the Game Boy Advance days. It was a lot of fun.

Will have to check it out. I need more turn-based strategy games like these.
Lost Frontier was a great one, but I can't find it on Android anymore. It's still available on Apple though.

Amazing games. Nintendo delayed the release because it was supposed to come out like amonth after the invasion of Ukraine.

I absolutely loved this game as a kid. As an adult now, I've just felt out of love with gaming. My ps5 goes untouched as does my xsx. I only play msfs on my pc. I really want to try this but not sure if I'll be into it.
They did a good job with it. I paid launch price and had fun.
They would pump out Days of Ruin for Switch 2.

Just downloaded warbits and it seems to be very similar to Advance Wars, thanks!

This was a fun game but it definitely showed its age in terms of story, depth, and execution, especially compared to the likes of one of its successors, Dual Strike. If you're a turn-based strategy fan looking for a game that's light-hearted and doesn't take itself seriously , this deserves a look.

Found 5 copies of this for $17.99 during the Target clearance, the price is ok but I prefer Fire Emblem
Wow! When was this? That's a great price.

Yeah it sucks that the base prices are going up, but in reality, especially adjusting for inflation, games are a lot cheaper than they used to be.

When I bought Final Fantasy III for the SNES new 30+ years ago, it was something like $75. $75 in 1992 dollars is $173 today.

I don't buy the inflation argument. TV's have come down in price. The cost of game carts has come down in price and so has shipping. You used to be able to rent games in the 90's. I think this is just going to cause a bigger bootleg community for Nintendo.
