Looks like these are made in Brazil. These have good reviews, but they do warp over time. That shouldn't make a difference in cooking, unless you have certain recipes requiring an even layer of butter/oil.

My 8" pan and 12" skillet from their set did warp, even I was careful not to give them temp shock. I think it's a tradeoff. Heavier they are, the less prone to warp.

That's good to know. I was really considering getting a 2nd 8" fry pan, but warped pans that wont sit right on the burner trigger my OCD. Not sure I want to spend another $60 on an All-Clad factory second though....

I've age the 8" Seattle for 1.5" years and no warping. I did have a 12" Boston that started to warp but I routinely temp shocked it, so that's prob user error.

8" has been plenty for me most of the time but I'm usually cooking one or two-serving meals. I'd still probably suggest a 10" if you wanted only one pan for two servings. 12" you were feeding 3-4.

Those rivets on the inside of the pan will collect filth and crust and old dried egg. I try to avoid pans like that.

Old revereware pans are smooth on the inside and are at basically every thrift store in America for sub $10. Super comfy big handle unlike this one, which looks quite uncomfortable to use if the pan is loaded with weight.

I swear some handles are made for masochists, like the all clad ones.

Warping makes it unusable on induction

Unfortunately the revereware stainless steel is non-magnetic. That means they won't work on induction.

That MSRP is ridiculous. The "normal" price for that pan is more like $39.99. It's still a good buy at $34.99.
